Guar Seed futures decline on low demand

New Delhi,  Guar seed prices on Tuesday went down by Rs 16 to Rs 3,830 per 10 quintal in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery was trading at Rs 3,830 down by Rs 16, or 0.42 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 24,770 lots.

For April delivery, the futures prices decreased Rs 15, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 3,887 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 33,920 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions. PTI
