Guar Seed futures decline on low demand

New Delhi,  Guar seed prices on Monday went down by Rs 28 to Rs 4,010 per 10 quintal in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for June delivery was trading at Rs 4,010 down by Rs 28, or 0.69 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 7,815 lots.

For July delivery, the futures prices were trading lower by Rs 29, or 0.7 per cent, at Rs 4,091 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 49,260 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions. PTI
