New Delhi, Guar gum prices on Friday fell by Rs 229 to Rs 11,130.0 per quintal in futures market as traders offloaded their holdings in line with weak trend in spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for January delivery fell by Rs229, or 2.26 per cent, to Rs 11,130.0 per quintal in 48,560 lots.
Marketmen said slackness in demand in spot market and increased supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
