New Delhi, Guar seed prices on Tuesday declined by Rs 31 to Rs 3,823 per 10 quintal in futures trade.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery was trading down by Rs 31, or 0.8 per cent, at Rs 3,823 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 40,295 lots.
For April delivery, guar seed prices decreased by Rs 30, or 0.77 per cent, to Rs 3,871 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 19,335 lots.
Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions. PTI
