Mustard seed prices on Wednesday dropped Rs 26 to Rs 3,951 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their holdings on sluggish demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, mustard seed contracts for April delivery fell by Rs 26, or 0.65 per cent, to Rs 3,951 per quintal in a business turnover of 16,540 lots.
Mustard seed contracts for delivery in May declined by Rs 23, or 0.58 per cent, to Rs 3,962 per quintal in a business turnover of 6,970 lots.
