Refined soya oil prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 5.6 to Rs 928 per 10 kg in futures trade as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand in spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in October declined by Rs 5.6, or 0.6 per cent, to Rs 928 per 10 kg in 29,695 lots.
Refined soya oil contracts for November traded lower by Rs 5.5, or 0.59 per cent, at Rs 924.1 or per 10 kg in 15,405 lots.
Market analysts said cutting down of positions by participants against ample stocks mainly influenced refined soya oil prices. PTI
