New Delhi, soybean prices on Friday gained Rs 68.00 to Rs 7,664.00 per ten quintals in the futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean contracts for the June delivery traded higher Rs 140, to Rs7417 per ten quintals with an open interest of 43,865 lots.
Analysts said that after tracking firm physical market trends, traders raised their bets which led to rise in soybean prices .mandibhav
