Coriander futures decline

Coriander prices on Monday fell by Rs 104 to Rs 6,674 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand at spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for September eased by Rs 104, or 1.53 per cent, to Rs 6,674 per quintal in 1,870 lots.

Similarly, the spice for October delivery decreased by Rs 108, or 1.58 per cent, at Rs 6,730 per quintal in 3,430 lots.

Market analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to decline in coriander prices here. PTI
