Coriander futures decline on low demand
Coriander prices on Thursday fell by Rs 44 to Rs 6,190 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand at spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for July eased by Rs 44, or 0.71 per cent, to Rs 6,190 per quintal in 1,695 lots.
Similarly, the spice for August delivery decreased by Rs 30, or 0.48 per cent, at Rs 6,270 per quintal in 2,565 lots.
Market analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to decline in coriander prices here. PTI
