Coriander futures decline

Coriander prices on Friday fell by Rs 36 to Rs 6,810 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand at spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for September eased by Rs 36, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 6,810 per quintal in 2,275 lots.

Similarly, the spice for October delivery decreased by Rs 18, or 0.26 per cent, at Rs 6,902 per quintal in 3,315 lots.

Market analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to decline in coriander prices here. PTI
