Guar seed futures decline on low demand

New Delhi, Guar seed prices on Monday fell by Rs 76 to Rs 4,212 per 10 quintal in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery was trading down by Rs 76, or 1.77 per cent, at Rs 4,212 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 29,160 lots.

For December delivery, the futures prices decreased by similar margins to Rs 4,251 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 33,775 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions. PTI
