Turmeric futures decline on low demand

New Delhi. Turmeric prices on Monday went down by Rs118 to Rs 8,548.0 per  quintals in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, Turmeric contracts for April delivery were trading at Rs 8,548.0 down by Rs 118 , or 1.36 percent per  quintals with an open interest of 13070 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in Turmeric prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.Mandibhav
