Indore: A recent assessment by the Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA) found that roughly 15% of areas had poor crop growth and that about 6% of Madhya Pradesh’s soyabean crop was destroyed by excessive rainfall.
According to the assessment, over 70% of MP’s soybean acreage is still in normal condition. However, in certain areas of the state, weeks of intense and persistent rainfall caused low-lying fields to become waterlogged, which damaged the crops.
