Coriander prices on Friday fell by Rs 72 to Rs 6,142 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand in spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for July eased by Rs 72, or 1.16 per cent, to Rs 6,142 per quintal in 2,640 lots.
Similarly, coriander contracts for August delivery decreased by Rs 84, or 1.34 per cent, at Rs 6,200 per quintal in 1,420 lots.
Market analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to the decline in coriander prices. PTI
