New Delhi, Coriander prices on Tuesday rose Rs 34 to Rs 6,976 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend at the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for April delivery went up Rs 34, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 6,976 per quintal with an open interest of 6,745 lots.
For delivery in May, the price went down up Rs 38, or 0.54 per cent, to Rs 7,100 per quintal with an open interest of 870 lots.
A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said. PT
