Coriander prices on Tuesday rose Rs 36 to Rs 6,824 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend at the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for September delivery went up Rs 36, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 6,824 per quintal with an open interest of 3,810 lots.
Coriander for delivery in October traded higher by Rs 12, or 0.17 per cent at Rs 6,910 per quintal with an open interest of 740 lots.
A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said. PTI
