Guar seed futures decline

New Delhi, Guar seed prices on Monday fell by Rs 32 to Rs 3,840 per 10 quintal in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery was trading down by Rs 2, or 0.05 per cent, at Rs 3,840 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 54,115 lots.

For April delivery, the futures prices decreased by similar margins to Rs 3,918 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 3,600 lots.Â Â

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions. PTI
