New Delhi, Guar Gum prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 142 to Rs 12,010.0 per quintal in futures trade after speculators increased their positions driven by a firm trend at spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for April contracts increased by Rs 142 , or 1.41 per cent, to Rs 12,010.0 per quintal with an open interest of 33,845 lots.
According to marketmen, raising of bets by speculators tracking a firm trend in the spot market on thin supplies from growing belts mainly led to rise in guar gum prices here.
