Jeera futures decline

New Delhi, Jeera prices on Friday went down by Rs 375 to Rs 20,685.00 in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, Jeera contracts for March delivery was trading at Rs 20,685.00 down by Rs 375, or 1.73 per cent   with an open interest of 7530  lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in Jeera prices due to short selling.
