New Delhi, Jeera prices on Monday gained Rs 155 to Rs 15,360.00 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, Jeera contracts for November delivery traded higher1.01 per cent, or Rs 155 to Rs 15,360.00 per quintal with an open interest of3,564 lots.
Analysts said after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets which led to rise in Jeera prices.
