Madhya Pradesh: Soybean growers benefit from the Bhavantar program

New Delhi. In order to protect farmers’ incomes by closing the gap between market prices and the Minimum Support Price (MSP), the Madhya Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, launched the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana (Price Difference Scheme), an essential part of the Pradhan Mantri Annadata Aay Sanrakshan Abhiyan (PM-AASHA).

In order to promote prosperity in the agricultural heartland, this “Price Difference Scheme” makes sure that farmers receive a direct credit for any commodities sold below the MSP.

The program, which was created especially for soy producers, closed enrollment on October 17, 2025, and procurement in mandis started on October 24.

As a consequence of the deployment of health desks and nodal officers to ensure seamless operations, 15,956 farmers have registered locally.

Even with bad weather, there is still a lot of enthusiasm.
