New Delhi, Soybean prices on Tuesday rose Rs 122.0 to Rs 7,772.0 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend at the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, Soybean for May delivery went up Rs 122.0, or 1.65 per cent, to Rs7,772.0 per quintal with an open interest of3,540 lots.
A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up Soybean prices here, market analysts said.
For delivery in June, the price went up Rs53, or 1.14 per cent to Rs 7,349.0 per quintal with an open interest of53,160lots
