Soybean futures gain on demand

New Delhi, Soybean prices on Friday gained Rs 255 to Rs 6648 per  quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, Soybean contracts for Decmber delivery traded higher 3.99 per cent, or Rs 255 to Rs 6648 per  quintal with an open interest of 36,990 lots.

Analysts said after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets which led to rise in Soybean prices
