Cottonseed oil cake futures up on spot demand

New Delhi,  Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday were trading up by Rs 98 to Rs 3,381.0 per quintal in futures trade after speculators created fresh positions on spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for delivery in January traded higher by Rs 98, or 2.98 per cent, at Rs 3,381.0 per quintal with an open interest of 36,010 lots.

Marketmen said raising of positions by participants amid a rising demand from cattle-feed makers mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices here. PTI
