New Delhi, Chana prices on Thursday fell by Rs 51 to Rs 5,259.0 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand at spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, Chana contracts for June eased by Rs 51, or 0.95 per cent, to Rs 5,259.0 per quintal in 83,640 lots.
Market analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to decline in Chana prices here.
For July delivery, the price decreased by Rs 49, or 0.91 per cent, to Rs 5,312.0 per quintal in 83,650 lots
