chana prices decline further
The NCDEX Chana futures currently trading at Rs 4035 per quintal, down 0.90% on the day.
The area sown under gram (chana)was over 10.5 million hectares, which is about 10 per cent higher than in the previous year. The total area sown under rabi pulses till January 15 was 15.7 million hectares. Against an MSP of Rs 48.75/kg, chana prices are ruling at Rs 36/kg to Rs 37/kg.
