Coriander futures decline on low demand

New Delhi, Coriander prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 52 to Rs 6,700 per quintal in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions amid weak demand in spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for October eased by Rs 52, or 0.77 per cent, to Rs 6,700 per quintal in 3,000 lots.

Coriander for delivery in November traded lower by Rs 44, or 0.64 per cent, to Rs 6,790 per quintal in 1,630 lots.

Market analysts said subdued demand in spot market mainly led to the decline in coriander prices here. PTI
