New Delhi, Coriander prices on Thursday rose by Rs 102 to Rs 7,034 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend in spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for April delivery gained Rs 102, or 1.47 per cent, to Rs 7,034 per quintal with an open interest of 6,295 lots.
A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said.
For delivery in May, coriander prices traded higher by Rs 92, or 1.31 per cent, to Rs 7,114 per quintal with an open interest of 2,975 lots. PTI
