New Delhi, Coriander prices on Monday rose Rs 76 to Rs 7,252 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend in spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for April delivery gained Rs 76, or 1.06 per cent, to Rs 7,252 per quintal with an open interest of 4,905 lots.
A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said.
However, coriander for delivery in May traded lower by Rs 76, or 1.03 per cent, to Rs 7,292 per quintal with an open interest of 250 lots. PTI
