Coriander prices on Wednesday rose Rs 36 to Rs 6,452 per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend at the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander for August delivery went up Rs 36, or 0.56 per cent, to Rs 6,452 per quintal with an open interest of 3,005 lots.
Coriander for delivery in September traded higher by Rs 70, or 1.08 per cent at Rs 6,542 per quintal with an open interest of 1,430 lots.
A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices here, market analysts said. PTI
