Coriander prices fell

Coriander prices fell by Rs 27 to Rs 5,934 per quintal in futures trade on Thursday as participants cut down positions amid muted domestic and export demand.

Besides, rising arrivals from major producing regions and profit booking at higher levels also weighed on the sentiment.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander prices for September delivery declined Rs 27, or 0.45 per cent, to Rs 5,934 per quintal with an open interest of 24,960 lots.

Similarly, coriander contracts for October also traded lower by Rs 34, or 0.56 per cent, at Rs 6,062 per quintal with an open interest of 11,190 lots.
