New Delhi.After the center sent them a written proposal agreeing to their “in principle” request, the farm union today cancelled a year-long protest. Farmer leader Balbi Singh Rajwar said today that Samyukta Kisan Morcha will hold a review meeting on January 15 to determine its further course of action. Rajwal said that the farmers will carry out a victory parade when they return to their homes on December 11. Farmer leader Gurnan Singh Chaduni said that if their demands are not met before January 15, they may call for the resumption of protests.
