Guar seed futures decline

New Delhi,Guar seed prices on Monday went down by Rs 20 to Rs 4,255 per 10 quintal in futures trade on low spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery was trading at Rs 4,255 down by Rs 20, or 0.47 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 44,840 lots.

For December delivery, the futures prices decreased Rs 23, or 0.53 per cent, to Rs 4,284 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 15,815 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions. PTI
