Guar seed futures decline

New Delhi,  Guar seed prices on Wednesday declined by Rs 10 to Rs 4,349 per 10 quintal in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery was trading down by Rs 10, or 0.23 per cent, at Rs 4,349 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 40,365 lots.

For December delivery, the futures prices decreased by Rs 9, or 0.2 per cent, to Rs 4,386 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 20,470 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions. PTI
