Guar seed futures decline

New Delhi,  Guar seed prices on Tuesday declined by Rs 3 to Rs 4,100 per 10 quintal in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery was trading down by Rs 3, or 0.07 per cent, at Rs 4,100 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 1,930 lots.

For December delivery, guar seed prices decreased Rs 21, or 0.5 per cent, to Rs 4,147 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 62,545 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions. PTI
