Guar Seed futures decline on low demand

New Delhi, Guar seed prices on Friday went down by Rs 123 to Rs 3,970 per 10 quintal in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for June delivery was trading at Rs 3,970 down by Rs 123, or 3.01 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 145 lots.

For July delivery, the futures prices were trading lower by Rs 9, or 0.22 per cent, at Rs 4,032 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 52,330 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions. PTI
