Guar Seed futures decline on low demand

New Delhi,  Guar seed prices on Thursday went down by Rs 24 to Rs 4,022 per 10 quintal in futures trade.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for July delivery was trading at Rs 4,022 down by Rs 24, or 0.59 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 45,105 lots.

For August delivery, the futures prices were trading lower by Rs 25, or 0.63 per cent at Rs 4,090 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 16,000 lots.

Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions. PTI
