New Delhi, Jeera prices on Wednesday gained Rs 410 to Rs 14,690.00 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings on spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, Jeera contracts for November delivery traded higher 3.76 per cent, or Rs 410 to Rs 14,690.00 per quintal with an open interest of 6,060 lots.
Analysts said after tracking firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets which led to rise in Jeera prices.
