Refined soya oil futures fall

Refined soya oil prices on Friday fell Re 1 to Rs 819 per 10 kg in futures trade as speculators reduced holdings amid subdued demand in spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in July declined by Re 1, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 819 per 10 kg in 14,330 lots.

Similarly, refined soya oil contracts for August decreased by 60 paise, or 0.07 per cent, to Rs 819 per 10 kg in 22,765 lots.

Market analysts said cutting down of positions by participants against ample stocks mainly influenced refined soya oil prices. PTI
