New Delhi, Soybean prices on Tuesday rose Rs 122.0 to Rs 6,908.0per quintal in futures trade as speculators widened their holdings tracking firm trend at the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, Soybean for Jun delivery went up Rs 122.0, or 1.77 per cent, to Rs6,908.0per quintal with an open interest of40995 lots.
A firm trend in spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up Soybean prices here, market analysts said.
For delivery in July, the price went up Rs171.0, or 2.01 per cent to Rs 6,698.0 per quintal with an open interest of24540 lots
